Customer Service Operative – Seasonal
This a customer facing role involved with the day-to-day operations of one of Kent’s biggest visitor attractions.
Customer Service Operatives will be vital to ensuring visitors have a safe and enjoyable experience whilst visiting Folkestone Harbour and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across site and supporting with the delivery of our varied events programme.
This role is seasonal and on a casual basis, which may suit someone looking for weekend and school holiday work.
Working as part of our site operation team is a chance to be part of re-inventing the British Seaside Experience.
Rate of Pay: £12.71/hour

Audio & Visual Technician
Folkestone Harbour Arm is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Audio & Visual Technician to support our busy events and entertainment programme throughout the season.
This role would suit someone studying or interested in music production, live sound, audio engineering, media, or event production who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a unique live events environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Setting up and operating PA systems for live bands and performers
- Assisting musicians and performers with basic sound requirements
- Managing scheduled content and programming on the Harbour Arm big screen
- Carrying out basic equipment checks and troubleshooting where required
- Supporting the wider events and operations team during live events
- Helping ensure equipment is stored safely and maintained correctly
What We’re Looking For
- Interest or experience in live sound, music production, AV, or event technology
- Confident using audio equipment and basic computer systems
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and during busy event periods
- Calm and organised approach in a live event environment
