In September 2018 the Folkestone Harbour and Seafront Development Company held a public exhibition on proposals for the first phase of the redevelopment of Folkestone seafront. We invited people to join us at the exhibition to show how our plans are developing.
In 2015 we were granted outline planning consent for a mixed-use development, including new homes, cafes and restaurants, as well as extensive recreational space. In April 2018 a series of amendments to this planning consent (based on the masterplan) were also approved.
The exhibition was a chance to see our plans and hear about how the seafront is changing, meet the team and get your questions answered. If you were unable to come to the exhibition but would like to find out more, you can download a copy of the boards presented here.
