The New Ingredient
Under this new approach the Seafront site is divided into a number of zones that will each have its own character. These zones are effectively the "ingredients" that, when complete, will form a coherent and interconnected urban landscape.
The diagram identifies the proposed zones. Our pictures illustrate either what has already been achieved, such as The Quarterhouse in Tontine Street, or provide examples from other seaside locations to show how Folkestone might develop.
